A Home For Friendships

Bethany Reformed Church is a place that anyone can find friends that are together on a spiritual journey toward a deeper relationship with God.

We believe that this relationship begins with an understanding of who Jesus Christ is and what he has done for us.  We also believe that he continues to work in our lives.  The person and work of Jesus Christ is what binds us all together as friends.

Our Leadership:

We are led as a congregation by our consistory.  Consistory is made up of four elders and four deacons.  Our elders are charged with the spiritual care (proclamation of the word, worship, and sacraments).   The deacon’s charge is for the physical (building) and financial care of our congregation.

Our full consistory meets monthly (except July) on the second Monday of the month.

Those who have joined our church agree with the following 5 statements:

  1. I believe in one God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; and I confess Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord.
  2. I accept the scripture of the Old and New Testaments as the only rule for faith and life.
  3. I, relying on the grace of God, promise to confess Christ publicly before others, to serve Christ daily, and to walk in Jesus’ way.
  4. I promise to exhibit the joy of new life in Christ; to share fully in the life of the church; to be faithful in worship and service; and to offer my prayers and gift.
  5. I promise to accept the spiritual guidance of this church; to walk in a spirit of Christian love with this congregation; and to seek those things which make for unity, purity and peace.
